I put the Moonrise Trio together to play music from my forthcoming debut solo album, ‘This Love’, which will be released in November 2024.

The trio has quickly found a sound of its own. This sound comprises Ben Higham’s muscular and energetic tuba playing, John Bodger’s propulsive drumming, and my own breathy trumpet sound and looping.

Featuring circular patterns, atmospheric electronics and driving rhythms, the Moonrise Trio will be touring the UK in October 2024, and we look forward to many more gigs…
